The River Place Arts Festival is now called Artisphere: the international arts festival of Greenville. Artispheres outdoor activities and performances are free with some indoor signature artist series performances being ticketed from $12 - $40.
The Artisphere hosts award-winning visual artists of national and international caliber showcasing their work at an open air Artist Row in the West End. It features musicians, artists of all types and media. Some perform, and some have a display booth. There is a separate area for kids to work on ART with paint throwing, drawing and general creating with all sorts of materials.

This museum is dedicated to an accurate portrayal of the history of one of the most tragic periods in America's past: 1861-1865. We show the events as they were, without embellishment or revisionism. Shoeless Joe Jackson grew up in Greenville playing ball in the mill leagues. The town hasn't forgotten him. His old home is has been moved close to the stadium and restored to become a museum. Visit the Shoeless Joe Jackson's Virtual Hall of Fame for up to date information on what's going on in the effort to get him into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
