The Eastside is a very desired place to live for people who know Greenville. Some of the areas best schools are in the eastside including Pelham Road Elementary, Eastside High School, Buena Vista Elementary to name just a few.
Michelin is headquartered in the eastside and the French school is also close by. There is no shortage of easy access with I-85 and I-385 being so close. The Eastside is less then 10-15 minutes from Downtown Greenville. Haywood Mall is conveniently located for eastside residents, and everything in Greenville is a short distance away.
Homes tend to be older, and are priced from the inexpensive to the luxurious. There are a few newer subdivisions, but most new home construction is taking place in Simpsonville and Greer. Some of the nicest subdivisions in Greenville are located in the Eastside such as Thornblade, Sugar Creek, Carlisle and Foxcroft. The addresses in this area are Greer and Greenville city addresses.
One main corridor through the area is Pelham Road with all the shopping, restaurants, hospitals and hotels that Pelham Road offers. Most of the buildings you see below are restaurants or shoping. To the north of Pelham Road you have several parks and a wealth of communities which flow into downtown Greer, SC - a very up and coming city. All in all the Eastside is a prime location to live.
